Entry Level Federal Associate Developer -Houston

Your Role and Responsibilities
Job Role Description: As a Federal Associate Developer some potential job descriptions are as follows:

Front-End Developer- As a Federal Associate Front-end Developer, you will be instrumental in bringing industry-defining products, cloud services and web applications to users around the world. You will gain experience in building responsive, elegant and engaging experiences with future friendly web technologies. You will work with clients and be responsible for implementing visual elements that users see and interact within a web or mobile application.
Back-End Developer- As a Federal Associate Back-end Developer, you will work with client- server architectures, networking protocols, application development, and use databases. You’ll work in a dynamic, collaborative environment to understand requirements, design, code and test innovative applications, and support those applications for clients.
Full Stack Developer- As a Federal Associate Full-Stack Application Developer, you will help design, develop, and integrate solutions using best practice technologies, tools, techniques, and products our clients demand today. You’ll work with clients, co-creating solutions to major real- world challenges by translating system requirements into the design and development of customized systems in an agile environment.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Willingness to relocate to the Houston area.
  • Many jobs within GBS Federal Sector require U.S. citizenship and/or security clearance because of government or contract requirements. If you are not a U.S. citizen or are unable to obtain security clearance, there may be limited work opportunities for you, which may affect your continued employment at IBM.
  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited 4-year institution coupled with internship, work, and/or project experience, which will provide the analytical and technical acumen that translates to an entry-level consulting role.

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, or Computer Engineering (if demonstrated strong current language programming experience).
